Title: How to Reprogram a Mitel 5320e IP Phone to a New Number
Post by: kgilbert999 on July 31, 2020, 09:32:38 PM
I need to reprogram a Mitel 5320e IP Phone to a new number. Someone suggested ***New Number and then press hold. That is not working. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I am on a 3300 with MiVoice Business. Thank you.

If it is associated with an extension now, you will need to log into ESM and delete the mac address from the current extension... the *** is usually the PIN Registration code and won't do anything on a phone that is already registered. If the phone is new and replacing and existing phone, it is usually ### {EXT #} but that depends how your system is programmed.

Has the number already been programmed in the system?
If not, it will need to be before the *** or ### will work.

System could also be set for the incorrect phone type. It won't PIN if programming isn't set for a 5320e
