Title: IP Trunk Calls not working
Post by: brogerson on July 08, 2020, 10:16:20 AM
I have two systems at 9.0sp3 that has an IP trunk to a system with 7.2 software.

The configuration looks good and the trunk is established.  When I try and make a call across the trunk i get a out of service message on my phone even though the trunk shows established or idle in maintenance.

CCS Trace shows the PBX is not even attempting to make the call.

I've seen something similar and was never able to resolve it.  Even tech support said the config looked right.  I finally gave up and  routed the calls through a third PBX.
Having said that usually the problem is the wrong IP address is programmed in the XNET programming.

Can you tcpdump your call and share the .Pcap?

I have checked the XNET forms and in the newer versions of SW you can't configure the IP's.

I have had cases where the customer natted beween locations in the firewall instead of routing. All looked good, but would only work after the far end send a call. I think it open a pinhole
