The user double clicks the Desktop Icon but the MiCollab App won't load to the desktop but does show that it is running in the system Tray.

Possibly driver issues, make sure all your drivers have manufacturer latest installed.

Try ALT-SPACE then press M and move the arrow keys around and see if it appears... I have seen more than once time that an application was opened on a 2nd or external monitor then it was disconnected but the application is still opening on that "screen" that doesn't exist. Just a thought.
