Hi Team,
One of my SIP Terminals is showing the error message on the LED Display.
Error. Not Enough license in PBX.
I cannot call or receive calls from that SIP Extension.
HELP!!
-
Are there enough sip extension licenses on the phone system?
If they are concurrent, maybe this one was last to connect and all the licenses are in use?
-
I have about 95 sip extensions on the network. And yes that particular extension may have connected last when all the other licenses were used up.
How do i check whether i have enough licenses available?? I am using Mitel 470 as a communications server.
-
I'm not familiar with the 470, but one of the other forum users should be able to advise.
-
Try asking in the Aastra forum, this board covers the old legacy Mitel stuff.
-
@Lock, what is your PBX software version? Do you use AMS or WebAdmin Access?
-
@bojo387 sorry for the late reply.
My PBX software version is
System software
Application Boot
Version 8719a1 8719a1
Date 12.09.2016 12.09.2016
And yes i use WebAdmin Access.

Go to Terminals and check if any created terminals don't have assigned user - if found, delete terminal. This will release used license...If terminal is deleted from User screen - it's not really deleted - just not allocated to the user and will hold the license...

@zoo
I have deleted the terminals like you have suggested but still the license error persists.
I have checked the License section and it gives me the following status:
Terminals: License:
MiVoice5300 IP Phones 1
Mitel SIP Terminals 89
SIP Terminals 1
I currently have 94 terminals created on the Web client. 91 terminals are registered.
Only 3 are not registered.

What's the actual breakdown of your terminals? 94 Mitel SIP or 94 total terminals under System Terminals? (License is only for 89 Mitel SIP + 1 SIP Terminal)
remove/delete other Mitel SIP terminals until you are at 89...
