Title: MiVoice Business 10.0 to come with Call Director?

I was told today that Call Director will come on MiVoice Business 10.0 and will take place of embedded messenger voicemail.  Anyone else heard this?

Are you talking Nupoint? I would assume moving to Linux allows this easier than running vxworks.

yes this is true

Mitel are working to containerise all voice servers so they are platform independant
They had a problem with Nupoint so it will be removed from micollab and the Evmail's capabilities improved to allow it to take the place of nupoint

Wait... Nupoint is going to be removed from MiCollab?!?!

Yep it sure is cos they cant make it work in a container

Pretty sure nupoint is to be discontinued

Wow. We actually have a cap-ex budget to buy MiCollab later this year as a replacement for our stand-alone NuPoint. I wonder if we should wait and see what happens before we buy.
