Title: NuPoint - UM-SMTP - From Address

MiCollab-Nupoint Guys,

I have a new system going in and the customer is wanting to know if there is a way to have the UM-SMTP messages send with a custom (static) email address; example. voicemail@customersite.com.

Is there a way to do this or are they stuck with the From Address showing the phone number?

In Nupoint go to "Smarthost Configuration" - it will give you two options:
1. Use the Mail Server User ID configured in the MSL server-manager
2. Let NuPoint determine the "From" address

Thanks for the help on that one, but now they have changed their mind on how they want it to work.

They now want it to show the Call ID like it did, but with a different domain than what it is using.
