So I have a customer with a MiVO 250 that has been reporting a large number of IP phones repeatedly giving an Alarm 10 that just clears itself after a minute or two, but in the logs, this message is repeated over and over:
-02:305- > -02:277- 10:57 03-02 *** CP_TEST asai_first_party_state_t::process_vm_transfer_info_message enter

Any thoughts? The system was rebooted in the last 24 hours...

acejavelin,
Alarm 010 is the Off-Hook Alarm for phones, but that doesn't seem to be what is going on here.
If I had to guess then I would think that your Voice Processor (AVDAP) is having a problem and the Call Processor is trying to sort it out.
Is this system configured with a PS-1 or is the VP on the base system?
If it is on the base system then you may want to swap out your processor card to see if that fixes the problem.
If it is on the PS-1 then I would try to get ahold of Tech Support to figure out what is going on with it.
Thanks,
TE

Ace,
That message print string is a bug in 6.3 software. Every call that passes through voice mail generates that error.
6.3.8.103 (SP4) supposedly fixed the bug.

So that explains the massive amount of message... every call to their main number get's a "thanks for calling, your call may be recorded" type of greeting so a lot of calls hit the VM at some times.
Guess I will need to upgrade again, seems like we did this a few months ago and the errors just started in the last week or so.
Thanks!
