NuPoint UM build 19.1.1.102.01
Created a new vmbox that included 3 Standard UM Email addresses 1 thru 3 with Audio Attachment option.
Upon testing... only email address 1 received an email regarding a voicemail.
Shouldn't all 3 listed email addresses have received the message?
-
check the qmail.current log file to see if the server tried the other addresses and hit an error or if it just sent the message out to 1 address.
-
Appears to have only sent to the 1st address.

Although I can create a new email distribution list; thought I could also simply send to the 2-3 users directly from here.

Is Feature Bit 304 enabled in the FCOS for this user?
-
304 is enabled for one of the users that did NOT get the email. 304 is enabled for the user that DID get the email. The mailbox itself has 304 enabled, however I do see the message "This mailbox is not currently licensed for Standard UM."
-
I understand that only 1 email will work, just don't understand why there are fields for 3 emails.
I created an email distro to accomplish the objective.
-
Make sure the mailbox with bit 304 has a COS that uses bit 304.
Then, on the left column, go to Unified Messaging > UM User Licensing and click "Update UM User Licensing"
After that you won't see the error about the mailbox not being licensed - assuming you have enough licenses.
All three users should get the email, I have never seen it be an issue where one user gets it but others don't. I have seen it go to spam quite often, though.
-
Thanks ZA - I will go with the distro email address. The 304's were set.
In regards to the 'not licensed for UM' message. In my environment, I would normally set this ON in the MiCollab Users and Services for the user account in the NuPoint UM tab. However, in this case the mailbox belongs to a Ring Group - which does not have an account in MiCollab Users and Services.
Your solution brings up another question... Where can I check to see how many licenses exist for UM? In MiCollab > Applications > Licensing Information, I do see the number of NuPoint UM User Licenses at "100" and "50" in use. However, it doesn't show the number of Standard or Advanced licenses.
-
Is this mailbox associated with a user in MiCollab? If so you can check the box for standard. It should send to all 3
-
Not associated with a user; belongs to a Ring Group.
-
You then have to go to um licensing to get this working
