Title: trying to add Trio 8500 to mitel 5000 HX

We just got a polycom Trio 8500 and are trying to connect it to Our Mitel 5000 HX. Have the F license for this. Am still somewhat new to the Mitel world and not sure what steps to take.

Have phone connected and working for internal calls trying to sort out external calls. any suggestions would be appreciated.

If it works for internal calls, it should work for external as well. Check your Outbound Extension in Associated Extensions of the phone... The default is to use the analog lines.
