So our client has a hunt group setup and the members of that hunt group are call presence buttons on the phones.
The client wants to have the phones setup so after X seconds, it goes to another set of extensions.
My thought process this:
Assign a COS to the first hunt group and set the Call Forward No Answer timer to X seconds.
Assign a 2nd new COS to the 2nd hunt group and set that to No Answer timer to something high. It must just keep ringing.
A) Will this work?
B) Is there a better/easier way?
Thanks in advance, this forum is awesome.

Use Ring Groups.
RG1 Ring All members -> RG2 etc....
You can still use the buttons if you like but you can also just put all the phones you want in the group. I would just put the phones you want to ring in the groups as it will be easier to manage.

Thanks, this is what I ended up doing. In other PBX's a Hunt group can ring all extensions, in Mitel land, it's a called a Ring Group.

Not much hunting in a group that rings all JMHO :-)

Mitel has both. They used to do different things, but features of one were added to the other to the point where they are virtually the same.
