Title: Phone KEY Programming Issue
Post by: bigpomaha@gmail.com on October 30, 2019, 02:23:14 PM
We have a new office that we setup recently and we are slowly but surely getting things setup.  We are starting to program some users keys.  The keys appear to programmed correctly however the LABEL doesn't show up on the phone display.  Doesn't matter what key we program nothing shows up on the display.  The keys work correctly but no label.  Anyone have a clue what the issue might be?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

Perry

Update -  I did try a few things but didn't change anything.  Had her reset the phone with no luck.  Tried another of the 15 phones in the office and one worked and the other did not.  So far two of them are having teh issue

I have seen issues where the label doesn't show even though you can see it in the programming. I currently have a similar issue but different load. One thing to check to isolate this, does it happen on all phones or just this one? In my case it appears to be just a single set. There may be something wrong with the memory this is using. I had the end user edit the button i.e.from the set and it displays the name. I  also am working to move this phone to a new memory location by creating a new phone, changing the old to another number and updating the new with the true extension so as not to use the old memory location

I've configured many hundreds of 69xxs with keys and I don't recall even once getting feedback about keys not displaying.

Try going in Users and Services to a phone whose keys are working fine and use the "Copy keys" button to copy them across to the phone that's having trouble.
