Is it possible to use the same extension (directory number) for multiple tenants. I think it is not possible, but if you have any ideas, please share.

Do you mean a common DN? Not able to do that but you could set up network zones and location based numbers to have a common digit pattern do something.

johnp, thank you for your answer. I mean if users from one tenant can use the same DN ranges as users from another tenant. When I tried to configure new user in tenant 2 with the same DN as already existing user from tenant 1, it complained that the DN was already in use.

It's been a while since I ~think~ I did something similar.
It wasn't using tenanting, though.
The way it was done was by using interconnect restriction. The trunks will need to be unique for both tenants.
Put the line one all the phones needed. - It will need to be Multicall in order to work right.
Using interconnect restriction, restrict tenant A's trunks from tenant B's phones and Tenant B from Tenant C's trunks.
Now incoming calls should ring to only on the phones they're not restricted from.
In any case, all the phones will need to be on the same controller.

You cannot have duplicate DN's in the MiVoice Business, regardless of tenanting or interconnect restrictions. Even though tenants may have interconnect restrictions to prevent them dialing each other, it is still one system and it will only recognize one x100 or x1004 or whatever, they cannot be duplicated. Period. That's my final answer (I have been down this road as a sales person sold a system like this once, and it just can't happen).
The most common way of doing this is have a leading digit... for example, tenant one will all be 1xxx and tenant 2 have 2xxx, 3 will be 3xxx, etc. This allows them to keep their original 100 extension for example, just not it will be 1100 or 3100 or whatever.

you should use an extension before your DN
example :
Compagny 1 : *400 100
Compagny 2 : *401 100
Compagny 3 : *402 100
