I've been trying to do something that I thought would be an easy process, but seem to be missing the mark or perhaps it's not possible.
One of my clients has a smaller deployment, two inbound phone lines and eight extensions around the facility. I've got the system doing system holds, so they can answer it on one phone and pick it up on another. With only two people in the office any anyone time, it works perfectly for them. Pretty simple, pretty basic and meets their needs.
I've got the trunks labeled LINE 1 and LINE 2. Again pretty basic.
They have noticed that under the label there was a number, which is the trunk number.
So: LINE 1
94257
LINE 2
94258
Is there anyway possible to either (a) hide the trunk number so that it just displays LINE 1 and LINE 2 on the 5330 phones that they have?
or
Change the trunk number to match the local 7-digit number..
This is all in an effort to make it look better, strictly aesthetic.
Any suggestions?

What I do is go into the phone settings (blue key) and change the text size to large.

That was GENIUS!
Worked perfectly... Thank you!

Remember, this will make every key only one line... So you miss out on things like BLF keys won't show the extension, the active call key won't show the caller's name/number, and a few other things, but if your good with that this is a valid answer. Otherwise, I don't know of a way to hide a trunk's extension number.
