Title: Fake Alarms on MiVoice vs 9
Post by: jenkinszell on August 07, 2019, 04:04:00 PM
I use to be able to clear the false (clustered systems) alarms.  When it would show that another controller was in alarm but it really wasn't, by changed the SNMP to off, then back on.  Well in version 9 they moved the SNMP to the Server manager and now that trick no longer works.  Anyone have another idea on how to clear these fake alarms.

I've tried turning it off on each one of the controllers that says they are in major alarms 3 of 5 + main, whats funny is even with it disabled it still shows them in major alarm.  On version 8 they would go green when you did this.  Then I did a sync on SNMP (with it still disabled) on the 3 & Main, still shows major alarm for them.  After a good hour I enabled them all, no change, did the sync again, no change.  I'm out of idea's.

To clear this, go to:

System Properties>System Administration> Admin Group Management>

On any controller in the Admin Group

Disable it then re-enable it.

Note: Form was called Admin Group Fault Management on previous versions.
