Title: MiCollab: e-mail and SMTP port configuration
Post by: Landerne on July 18, 2019, 10:59:38 AM
In Configuration > E-mail settings, I would set the destination port for outbound SMTP
But the listbox has just 3 items with port 25, 465 or 587.
My server use the port 1025.
How can I change for this?

Thanks for help

To my knowledge you can't, not even sure tech support can adjust that... ports 25, 465 (old and not sanctioned by IETF but still used in some cases), 587, and occasionally 2525 are "industry standard" ports for SMTP and secure SMTP. If your server is using 1025 it is not standard and not supported.

To my knowledge you can't
Correct

So we had to open a dedicated port for MiCollab.  >:(

Hope this setting will be possible in the future.

Why is your server set to that? I think most email clients use standard values. Do you use custom email clients?
