Hello fellow Mitel techs,
I'm sure we've all heard of HIPPA, SOX, PCI compliance. but here's a new one. ITAR Compliance. Does anyone know if Mitel is ITAR Compliant. or if they should be? Here is a link to an article on what ITAR is:
https://thereceptionist.com/blog/itar-compliance-what-it-is-who-needs-it-and-the-penalties-for-ignoring-it/ (https://thereceptionist.com/blog/itar-compliance-what-it-is-who-needs-it-and-the-penalties-for-ignoring-it/)
ITAR = International Traffic Arms Regulations
I'm just not sure how a Unified Communications platform or phone system would need this kind of compliancy.
Thoughts on this?
Thanks,
-Iron
