Hi All -
Our vendor is unable to fix this problem so I came here to post. We have Micollab setup to use with meetings. We setup the conference and click the link within the calendar. The Micollab web page comes up, we fill out our name and click "Join".... This opens up another browser window saying "Starting Collaboration Client" and the icon spins and never connects. This does this on Chrome and Firefox. On IE, it goes to a page that says the link is invalid. We can use a workaround by clicking "Join by Windows Client" but this is not ideal for staff when they may be using the product for the first time. Also, clicking the "Join" button is easiest and that's how we want it for our staff. We have tried disabling pop ups, changing to a network with wide open firewall, restarting the computer, restarting the Micollab server. I have expressed to our vendor that it seems like the "Join" button is not properly configured to initiate the plug in installer but they don't seem to understand how it works. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

What appears in Event Viewer on the PC when the icon is spinning to nothing?

FWIW the join button doesn't invoke the client

Morning -
I looked all throughout the Event Viewer for 30 minutes or so and could not find anything related to Micollab.
Thanks

Hi John -
What does the Join button do? I figured it was very similar to GoToMeeting, Zoom, etc. where it would install a quick plug-in to allow the connection via a web browser. How are users supposed to make it work?
Thanks

Found the issue. The Micollab server needed the FQDN in order for this to work.
Thanks
