Title: Message Light Blinking from forwarded extension
Post by: putnh18 on April 22, 2019, 10:49:19 AM
My predecessor before he left forwarded his extension to my extension.  I was on the phone the other day when someone must have called his extension and left a call back number.  Now my phone's message light keeps blinking, but when I hit the Message button, it displays NO MESSAGES, my phone is a Mitel Superset 4025.  I read about creating a multi line device and program the Prime DN into the Voicemail Hunt Group and set it's COS to DO NOT DISTURB=Permanent.  Does that apply to my situation with the phone forwarded?

I found the solution myself.  If anyone else encounters this.  On the PBX look for Feature Access Codes.  Find the Message Waiting - Deactivate code.  From your phone enter the code then enter your extension.  Worked perfectly for me.
