Title: Hot Desk Users - two locations
Post by: msouva on March 19, 2019, 09:57:29 AM
I have a hot desk user that travels to our NY location from IA.  Is it possible that when they log into the NY location to route all their outbound calls out the NY trunks rather than the IA trunks?

This is definitely possible. I'm assuming you have 2 systems that are in a cluster? One at each location?

You need to look into location based call routing, more info is below:

@Martin if you want to access from outside to your ICP , you should use VPN, mapping ip address is a big security breach.

@sunspark - that IP has nothing to do with me or anything i'm involved with, to give msouva more info I googled the help doc I knew was available. That link was the top result from a google search..

Appreciate the concern though!
