3300 MiVoice Business 8.0
I have a sales group that I setup with a simple ring group and a group voicemail. I feel like there is a better way to set this up. The customer now needs missed call notification and I am not sure the best way to set this up.

All the phones should already show that in the call history, no?

The problem is, every incoming call is answered by 1 phone, becomes a "missed call" on the 14 others.
Missed call is a useless bit of information at the best of times.
If they are worried about missing calls, then they need a console operator to ensure all calls are answered.
They should otherwise have the call answered using a mailbox or ACD so messages can be played to keep them on the phone while they wait, and giving them options to leave a message, etc....

If this is the case, then it's only because of a deficiency in how Mitel have implemented it. For example, the existence of SIP CANCEL reason codes like "Call Completed Elsewhere" tells me that thought has been put into this problem and solutions have been found. Mitel could fix this no problem.

Are you guys here talking about SIP phones or MiNET phones being in the ring group? I highly doubt that MiNET phones in a ring group will all show the call as missed.

I'm thinking this might actually be the case.
