How much bandwidth is required for a single call over a WAN?

What type of WAN link?
ATM Frame Relay Serial?
G711 or G729?

Depends on if you have compression or not. G.711 is without compression and G.729 is with compression. The below is stolen from Cisco (don't hate me!)
I think only the top 2 rows apply in Mitel land...

There is a table in the eng guidelines for this but in short, depending on link type and packet rate between 80-120Kbps for G711 (uncompressed) and 20-80Kbps G729 (compressed) on the wire.
