Title: Troubleshooting MWI with embedded VM
Post by: Dogbreath on February 08, 2019, 12:58:00 PM
Struggling with MWI keys for shared mailboxes, it's so random. Light comes on but won't go off, delete and recreated keys and mailboxes, light goes off and won't come on, etc. Infuriating. Rel 8 VMiVB.
Does this mean anything to anyone?:

Code: [Select]
02/08 17:43:03 INFO    9050-01 mi_process_switch_packet: MiNet message with CLC value [1] is received

02/08 17:43:29 INFO    8483-30 mwi: vb_dial[*904451]

I can guess what the final step is trying to do, and yes the VM ports are allowed in CoS, but my light doesn't light.

Make sure the last 2 ports of the embedded VM are in the Voicemail Hunt Group and not used for RADs or other purposes. The embedded VM uses the last 2 for message waiting indication.

5320 and 5330.
Every VM port is in the VM hunt group.

Are people leaving "Callback" notifications by chance?
