Hello,
I bought a Mitel 5312 Dual-Mode Phone a little while back, and have only just tried to use it on SIPgate (As seen in previous posts here).
However, I've been looking, and there are a lot of people saying that the firmware could be corrupted or is just old.
I have R7.2.02.00.00.31 on this phone - Is it an old version?
If so, how would I go about getting the newer one? The sipdnld.mitel.com server doesn't work, and I can see from various forum postings that it's not released to the public as such.
Thanks for your help :)

The SIP firmware is currently on release 8. You can download this release from MOL under software downloads.
There will be a new release of SIP firmware out soon.

Thanks for your reply.
However, I can't access Mitel OnLine, as I am not a reseller, nor a nominated end-user.
This is why I can't access it >.< Any advice on how to get it otherwise?
I did contact Mitel and explain my situation, and they were unwilling to supply me with details for MOL.
Thanks,
Joe

I am also wondering about how to find out latest firmware version for 5312.
Can some one advice on this?
Is there any other location to download firmware?
Thanks :)

You would need to get the firmware from a VAR with MOL access and then setup a tftp server to load it to the phone.
