For the oddest reason the Voice Mail Unit stopped working and the service has stopped. I'm trying to reset the voicemail Unit via CLI and cant seem to find the command to reset via CLI if possible. I have posted the error message i get when trying to access DB programming, hopeful i dont have to rebuild everything.

jperez1179,
If rebooting the system after performing a backup database save through the front of the controller than you need to get your vendor on site to find and fix the problem.
Thanks,

Hello.
We have a Mitel 5000, Suddenly the Voicemail to email stopped working for all extensions. When someone leave a recording message, we can't see the message in our email system. I checked our smtp server and it's working. I tried to use different smtp server but still not working, also I tried to reboot our phone system, but still not working. Please help me.
I'm new in this and I don't know what should I do.
Thanks

itsupport-54,
Do you have access to the System Administration and Diagnostics software? If so then just have it connect to the system, hit the play button and then look at the System Information box and click on the logs button.
Inside of the pop-up for the logs you will find some mail logs. Those logs will tell you what the system is doing with SMTP and what errors, if any, it is receiving.
Thanks,
TE

When I lookup secureserver.net email settings is shows to use port 80 or 3535. My assumption is that port 80 is the normal port 25 and that 3535 is what 587 would be since it supports TLS. Which port are you using?
Also, in your first posting you were showing an error that your username and password were no longer valid. Most likely they are requiring you to change it every so often.
You should be able to do a manual smtp test with the credentials you are using for the system and see what happens then.
Thanks,
TE
