Title: MiVoice Office 250 DB Progamming schedule for holidays?
Post by: joshgoldeneagle on December 19, 2018, 01:42:34 PM
I was asked to add a new holiday to our phone system.   Apparently on a holiday when a call goes to our main phone line there is a schedule that sends the phone call to a different voice mail greeting.  It might just be the regular night mode greeting.

We have MiVoice Office 250 system.

I am looking where I might find the location to enter dates for holidays.  I keep reading that people are using something called STARs to do this.  I don't know what that stands for or where that would be located in the menus.

Thank you.

You are looking for a STAR otherwise called "Scheduled Time-based Application Routing" and it is a Voicemail Application. They can be found in Voice Processor - Devices - Applications. Dates are first match from the top down.
