Title: The Mitel 69xx Series phones
Post by: rhys.ci.hughes on November 28, 2018, 05:45:38 PM
Hello all.
I have two questions in regards to the 69xx series phone.

1. When you answer a call via the handset and them move the to call the handsfree. If you want to go back to the handset, how is this done? I have tried pressing the handsfree button and going via Audio path option but no joy unless I’m doing it wrong

2. Voicemail key is setup to dial into a mailbox and I can see the messages. When I press play the message won’t play and I get an error message advising to contact system admin. Does something need enabling on the PBX?

1. Depress the hook switch and release it.

2. On PBX:
If using Nupoint voicemail add IP address of Nupoint and voicemail hunt group pilot DN in the "External Visual VM" folder
If using Embedded voicemail add the voicemail hunt group pilot DN in each mailbox (setting is "Visual Voicemail Hunt Group" in each mailbox)

We haven't sold the 6900 series phones with the Mitel 250 yet.  Does the embedded voicemail key on the 6900 series phones work?

On the 250 pressing it dials the Message Notification/Retrieval extension
On the 3300 you can change it to either dial the voicemail hunt group pilot DN or access visual VM.  If you change it to access visual VM you have to program another key for transfer to VM or TUI voicemail access
