Title: Ring Group Rename

Hi

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I have recently been given the task to make some changes on our 3300CXi and have been able to navigate most areas with help from this site and others and make the odd change. However we have a ring group which doesn't have a name just an number and I would like it to display the name of the group  but when I click CHANGE the name option is not enabled so I cannot type anything in here. I read that you can do this from the Group Admin Tool option but when I go in here the groups are not displayed.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Look in the form "Telephone Directory"

Hi

Thanks for the reply, I have looked in Telephone Directory and cannot see that number in their. The number appears in Ring Groups but not in Telephone Directory.

Hi Mark,

You need to add it into the telephone directory for the ring group to have a name.

Telephone Directory --> add ring group name + ring group number.

OK, that was kind of funny, but my colleague and I are now both yelling about Mitel putting in a "Name" field in the Ring Group create popup, but not allowing a name to be put into that field. So annoying.
