Hey guys,
I am doing my first install of the Mitel 112 DECT Phone (cordless with base). I have done everything to the best of my abilities as referenced from this guide: https://support.televersal.com/hc/nl/article_attachments/206344646/Mitel_RFP_12_System_Guide.pdf
The issue I am having is getting the device to properly register with the phone system. I continuously get a "SIP Registration Error".
I created a SIP ext. as a general device on the 250. Gave it an ext. logged into the base of the phone via IP. Setup all of the network and device info as requested. Curious if anyone has any experience with this device and could help me out.
Thanks!

Hi Wtatx,
Have you set the SIP username/password on the 250?
If not,
Under the extension double click on the SIP Phone Group, Click on Configuration, Click on Authorization.
Set Inbound Authentication to Yes, Set a Username & Password.
This is what is used in the account details on the base.

wtatx,
See attached document and follow the example.
Thanks,
TE

Thank you guys. I have already set the inbound authentication as Yes along with the username and password set.
Still receiving the same error for whatever reason. I also followed the guide that was supplied to me. Strange issue here. Clearly I am doing something wrong.

Do you have the CATF license for the phone?
-
Well, the DB shows that 0 of 5 CAT F licenses have been used. So I would assume we have 50 licenses available.

Inside the SME Voip web GUI, as soon as I click on the "start sip registration" and go to the sys log, this is what I get:
loc2 .Info 2018-09-05T14:34:02Z 173-[ SendFwuKillMail Succeeded]
loc7 .Info 2018-09-05T14:34:08Z 173-[ DECT MAC statistics: Pmid:00001 Typ:FN Res:0 Frames:1082,0,0 Bho:0,0 Rssi:56]
loc7 .Info 2018-09-05T14:34:10Z 173-[ Register 1712 for Line: 0]
loc3 .Info 2018-09-05T14:34:29Z 173-[ Registration of user 1712 (ExtId#0) on domain 10.64.195.12 failed]
loc2 .Info 2018-09-05T14:34:32Z 173-[ SendFwuKillMail Succeeded]
10.64.195.12 is the internal IP of the 250 phone system itself.

Fixed it! Man I am dumb.. I had the wrong credentials put in. (SIP authorization credentials).
Now, we are able to make calls internally (dialing other phones extensions) and it rings just fine. However, we cannot call out for some reason.

wtatx,
Alright, what is the SIP phones Associated Outgoing Extension; is it ARS or Direct to CO Trunk Group?
Does the SIP devices have access to the CO Trunk Group?
Are you restricting the SIP Devices calling certain numbers via Toll Restriction or Class of Service?
Did you dial the 8 or 9 prior to dialing the number or is it setup as House Phone?
Thanks,
TE
