hi gut I am Martyn, I have bought a secon hand ip phone system off ebay with phones to learn by experiment how to use and administor the system. I want to use software inside to add extensions change names time ect. As it is second hand was not given the ip address to sign in, also not got any sign in user name or passwords.
I am wondering if any of you guys could help me to break in throught putty to reset username and pass word and find the correct ip address to put in the broser to sign in.
Hope this ment sence so i can go further

in putty type version this will display IP and boot info
.Next try swrevs to let us know the software version.

Ok thats quite an old version.
You would need to remove the user database and reboot the controller.
From RS232
Type cd "/db/database/files", then rm "usrprfle.db"
don't forget the "'s they are needed.
Reboot the 3300..
This should remove the users and allow you to login with system/password
