Title: Mitel 5000 paging through handset and overhead speakers at the same time.

My mitel 5000 is sending Pages through the paging port to overhead speakers. Can I have the system simultaneously page over the phone handsets.

EnderWho,

You can if they are either Digital or IP, but not analog devices. Just go to the Page Zone you want to add phones to and select the IP/Digital Telephones and then add all of the phones you want pages to go through for that Page Zone.

Two things:

Pages will be heard through the telephone speakers, but not handsets.

Paging is an intensive use of resources. Use an extension list in the page zone and limit the number of telephones to thirty or less.
