Every staff member in our office has their own page in our intranet/employee directory. Their phone extension is visible on their page. What we would like to do is hyperlink their extension to autolaunch the Micollab software and auto-dial their extension.
Example: micollab:x269 or something similar
Does Micollab software have anything of this sort? skype does this using this html link method
skype:echo2125556175?call

click-to-dial works fine with MiCollab Client.
Right-click on the number and go to "additional actions" and then "dial".

I'm asking about html linking that will launch the software/dial the extension from clicking on a link in a web page. I know how to do this from Micollab software itself

how do you set up click to dial?
-
When you install MiCollab Client it should include ucadialer.exe which enables the click to dial.

What would a URL address that launches ucadialer.exe to dial a specific extension look like?

I think it the newer versions of the 7.3 client, tel and callto registry setting are now added to do this. In the micollab_pc client, it will populate the box, but not initiate the call making it a 2 step process. In the upcoming micollab_pc client, you will be able to use the mouse to copy and paste a number into the box
