Title: mystery call forward
Post by: tommyclowers on August 06, 2018, 05:20:48 PM
I have an extension that when DND is active or if the user doesnt answer the phone in #x rings it forwards to a different extension. I need to turn this off but have not been able to find where the forward is setup. There is no system speed dial, nothing in call forwarding profiles on the controller, no hunt groups, what else could I be missing?

Locate Feature Extension XXXX

It can be your best friend.

is there a way to see the path an extension takes so I can see why a call comes into extension 5555 but goes to someone else?

We have a hunt group setup so when someone calls the main number and presses 0 to get to the operator it should be directed to the hunt group, however its recently started directing those "operator" calls to people not in the hunt group. Trying to figure out why.

You could try CCS Trace. It won't show you much but it will probably show you if a call is being sent to the correct Hunt Group and whether maybe the hunt group member is the one that is forwarding it.

thank you for all the tips. I was stuck and was out of ideas so I deleted the phone and extension from the system and re-added it. Things are working now as they should
