Title: NuPoint VM to SMS

Is there a way to send voicemails either the file .wav or just an alert regarding that a voicemail has been left to a cell via SMS?

I've been playing around with rules on Exchange and have not been successful and not having any luck with NuPoint sending the message straight to my cell.

Trying to accomplish the following. Establish a crisis hotline and if a vm is left after hours they want that vm to go to an inbox and also SMS 4-5 individual cell phones. I can accomplish the vm to email but not having any luck with VM to SMS.

I'd have NuPoint email a group mailbox that then goes out to the carrier's SMS gateways for the cell phones. This is a pretty comprehensive list of carrier gateways: https://www.opentextingonline.com/emailtotext.aspx

If the email address that NuPoint sends the VM to is a distribution list, then a bunch of people can have the email delivered to them.
Then all you have to do is ensure their email on their phone is setup for alerts the same way as SMS is.
