Title: Mitel 8520 shows 'waiting' all the time when picking up the handset

Hi guys,

I have a problem with a mitel 8520. Whenever I call this user on his extension number, he picks up the handset but he can't hear anything (neither do I) and on my phone it shows 'waiting for user' like if he was busy when he's not, the only way he can reply is by pressing the IC button and then picking up the handset.

He also has a handsfree set connected to the phone, we unplugged it and tried again and still shows the same problem.


Is there any way to solve this? I checked the manual but I have no idea on where to start, thank you.

R9_,

Just turn off headset mode and/or turn Automatic Answer IC.

Both codes can be done from the phone or you can just look at the flags under the phone and change them there.
