Dear memebers,
When customers call and they arive in the queue they hear an waiting message (please wait.......)
Because we don't use music on hold they customers don't no if the line is still active.
So I want to repeat that waiting message every 20 sec.
Under System Administration, ACD, Path Assigment there is an entry 502 called Queue Reception.
In this config, recording 1 is voicemailbox 887, recording 2,3 and 4 are not configured.
This config can't be changed, I don't now why???
Where must I change a setting so I can repeat the waiting message more then 1 time???
Hope to hear from you guys

What software level are you using? I don't know of any reason why you wouldn't be able to have additional recordings, but that may not be what you're actually looking for.
There is an option to repeat the last recording at X interval. This is more than likely what your looking for.

Can you tell me where to find the Software level
-
Depending on your software level you will find the software version (1) at the very left hand bottom of the page (2) At the very top right hand of the page.
Repeating a "Please Hold" message every 20 seconds would drive me - as a caller - nuts. If I were an up set caller to start with, I'd really be annoyed.
My first question would be why don't you have music?
My next question would be: if not music why not a beep tone?
Then repeat the Please Hold message every 90 to 120 seconds.
As Bluewhite4 mentioned there is an option to repeat the last message. You'll find it in the ACD Path.

That's a good one!
How do I actived the beep tone?
Last Recording Repeat Interval Seconds (15) is enabled but the message isn't repeated???

I actually had to create a beep tone because it's not built into the 3300.
PM me with your email and I'll send it to you.
I'm currently working with my son who is a student at Michigan Tech in the audio production field to set up a website where he can produce and sell MOH for donations to his and other students collage funds. You wouldn't have to worry about licensing that way and he gets a little cash for collage. I'll include the beep tone there when I get it done.
