Title: headset + 6920
Post by: sunspark on June 19, 2018, 09:15:39 AM
Hello

I am looking for a wireless headset for 6920 phones. I want to answer with the button on the headphones.

Do you have feedback or reference to advise me?

 thank you.

The Jabra Pro series are compatible, I use the 9450.
For call control you would require the DHSG lead to connect it to the phone, then just enable DHSG under audio and set the audio path to headset in the advanced settings.

Hi Magpye

I tested with a plantronics wireless Headset, everything seems to work, however when I receive a call, I don't have ringtone on the headset but only on the phone. Should it activate something ?

thanks

Are you using a DHSG lead to the headset base rather than the lead that comes with the headset?

IF so you need to enable DHSG under the audio settings on the phone (I've had a few that then needed a reboot of the phone headset)

I'tested with 6940 phones , in this phone there is no DHSG option , ( i will test next week with 6920 phones)

Hello, I have a 6920 and my colleage a 6930 for testing purposes (also a 6940 available).

We have Jabra Pro 9465 headsets and the DHSG leads.

We find information bit by bit, for example the setting in Advanced for the audio path is the first time I see it.

The guided installation completes, including the call to a jabra server for dial tone something.

However there is no way to take the line with the headseat.

Any idea appreciated.

We're very happy with our Plantronics Voyager Legend. You can pick-up calls on the headset and can link to up to 2 BT devices. Most of our users link it with their cell and desk phones to handle both sources.
