Hi is there a way the operator on a 5550 console can get the status of an extension without actually ringing it. To show if its on divert etc..

You can program up a DSS/BLF on the 5550. This will show if the sets are idle/busy not sure about on divert though.

Thanks but that will only show one extension like the blf, i need to be able to check status of extension without calling it..

no, you can have a list of exts. You can also type the name in and see the status before transfering

Sorted, if you use latest 5550 software and BLF then you will get icon changing when you have divert on or off, you do need to set

BLF-CFA indication based on set enabled in system options,to make it work..
