Title: Mitel UC360 - making video calls to IP Based (H.323) Polycom HDX 8000
Post by: mbolton on May 31, 2018, 12:06:58 PM
Hi,

Has anyone achieved the above.   So far I have been unable to make a call from a Mitel UC360 to our Polycom HDX system.   I have been trying to make a SIP URI type call to an IP address.

Interested if anyone else has done this and what I might need to look at to get it working.

Thanks,
Mark.

Can the UC360 do any kind of video calls?
Can it make audio only calls?
How do the UC360 CoS options look?
Are you going through a SIP trunk to get to it or are they on the same network?

Hi Vince,

I can make video calls at the moment from one UC360 to another - just fails when trying to call the IP based Polycoms

Yes I can make audio only calls to the Polycoms

Not sure where I would see CoS options

Both Mitel and Polycoms are on the same network and we've moved them to the same VLAN

Thanks,

Mark.

Sorry, not CoS - have a look at the UC360 in server-manager for its "SIP device capabilities", then check the Controller form that goes by the same name.
Check your SDP options first (eg, set M-Lines to Yes...read what each one does), then the signalling and header manipulation.
