Title: Mitel 5220 IP Phone - Light Notifications
Post by: Galluzzo96 on May 01, 2018, 05:20:57 AM
Hi All,

I just want to know how you go about organising the superkeys so they light up or flash when a particular phone in the office goes off, i use to have this when my managers phone would go off, i would know which phone it was to pick it up,

Just want to know how this works and how i go about doing it as i've been left scratching my head for a long time with this.

Thanks in advance.

The top 3 keys don't have lights... Put features that don't require lights on them.

I mean the speed dial buttons that do have lights, there is a way that that light will flash when the associated number is going off in the office so i know which phone is ringing.

Galluzzo96,

Are you wanting to press the key and retrieve the call or are you going to use Reverse Transfer to pull the call to you?

Setting up a key as a DSS/BLF or the new terminology PKM/BLF is how you get to see a phone state. If you want to have it ring or delay ring your phone when that phone rings then it needs to be setup as Secondary Extension key; this will allow you to press the key to answer it.

Thanks,

TE

My bad... I saw this as "5320" not 5220.

I was unaware the 5220 was supported on the MiVoice Office 250...
