I found some posts from last year on this subject. Those posts were concerning ver 6.0 and Axxess. Sounds like for the most part it works fine.
Does anyone have more recent experience? I'm upgrading from 5.1 to 6.2.5.80 on the 5000 system and running ver 11.x on the Axxess.

I don't think it is supported by Mitel anymore, but it should work just fine and nothing has changed on how to network systems since Axxess 4.4/5.0/5.1 days.

The only issue might be the licensing... Can you still get Axxess licenses? I haven't seen one in a while...

I don't think so. I distinctly remember having to go into the LMC and download all of the existing Axxess customer licensing so we had it in case of a failure.

It's been a couple of weeks since I upgraded the Mitel 5000 system to ver 6.2.5.80. I didn't change anything software wise on the Axxess. Everything went well. The upgrade didn't have and adverse effect on the IP networking between the Axxess and the 5000 system. Nor did it effect the System OAI applications Attendant Console and Call Center Suite. It's all good.
