Title: Voicemail directory trans to mailbox

When using the voicemail directory...The voicemail transfers the call to the phone and then system forwarding settings send it back to the mailbox. Is there a system wide setting that will send the call directly to the mailbox?

Short answer, no. Long answer, yes if you don't want the mailbox associated with the phone; meaning the mailbox extension and the phone extension are different.

If you didn't want to transfer the call to the phone then why have the Directory option?
