Hi
How can i convert mitel 5330 phone to work as sip
I change the mode o sip via the phone but i cant login via web
-
I would upgrade it to the most recent release of MCD. I have 2 5330's working in sip mode and have no problem with web access
-
John is correct. I faced this issue at first when i converted mitel phones but found it was due to insufficient files being pulled by the SIP phone what are you using for the phones FTP/TFTP server? If you have a mitel login you should be able to easily pull the latest files for SIP even though they stopped supporting SIP awhile ago.
to get to the browser of the phone it is http://ip address of phone

The SIP files have not been available on Mitel's website for several years.

Yes sip files haven't been around for awhile, but all are still in the tftp tar file on the MCD from what I have seen. Haven't looked at the latest, but think they are still included

odd i was able to get the files from their site and they work for me with no issues. have an office with a total of 37 phones and their running like champs through SIP.

nsguru,
I haven't been able to find any of the SIP files for 53xx series phones on Mitel's website since sipdnld.mitel.com was shut down. Where did you find the SIP files for 53xx at on their site?
Thanks,
