Title: Multi Level Auto Attendant & Business Hours on Mitel 5000
Post by: gimitel on March 18, 2018, 10:40:18 PM
Hi there Mitel friends.
I am still new on the Mitel 5000 platform and getting used to it.
I have a customer that want to deploy Multi Level Auto Attendant on the Mitel 5000 inclusief Business Hours.
Is there a documentation on how to program this for Mitel 5000?

Or if someone can help me out with this.

Best Regards,

Gimitel

This is a classic scenario for a STAR (Scheduled Time-based Application Router) application. Although they are not really difficult, a lot of tech's struggle with them... Remember that is top down, first match and not necessarily "best" match.

I recommend writing out what exactly you want it to do and build it on paper first.
Set your 20 to the regular open hours ie 9-5
Set your default app to the closed hours cra

If you need more than 20 entries then make a second STAR and set the default app for the first one to go to the second.
Chain as nessessary

Set your most specific things first. IE New Years day is number 1

Otherwise you will have to use one for midnight to open and one for close to midnight.
