Hello,
We are using version 6.0.120 of Mitel Unified Communicator on Windows 10
We had an issue with connection early last year, which was resolved by adding a registry key, as per this forum post: http://mitelforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=8574.0 (http://mitelforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=8574.0)
The registry fix worked perfectly for a period of time. But as of the last Windows 10 update which updates windows to version 1709 (OS build 16299.192), the fix has stopped working on any workstation that gets the update. I have tried removing and reapplying the registry fix and reinstalling Unified Communicator, but I am still unable to connect.
The error message is "An unknown error occurred whiel validating credentials"
Has anyone else had issues with this update, and if so have you found a workaround?

You could try to roll back the update, although you'd only be playing chicken with other problems. We eventually had to update to to MiCollab 7 to solve the issue. I think now there's a version 10 but our MCD Software does not allow us to go above 6.0 SP3.

Hi ZuluAlpha, Thanks for your response :)
I think I will do the same and look at getting our system upgraded to a more current version of Micollab.
