Got a funny one today - a 6930 with the MAC prefix 00:08:5D
This MAC isn't on my list as a MAC owned by Mitel, but I did a lookup and it apparently belongs to Aastra.
Mitel merged Aastra into Mitel a couple of years ago, so now they appear to be using Aastra MACs.
This might be relevant to some people who might use the MACs to identify the vendor....

I noticed this a few months ago by scanning my network. 08 00 0f appears as mitel phones and the others as Aastra

The 6900 series handsets are based on an Aastra product so I think they are just rebadged and have Mitel FW
I know this is true for the 6800 series SIP based phones.

I've rolled out over 1,000 6900s, and although I can't say I had to look at every MAC on them, I definitely looked at hundreds of them and all of them have had the Mitel MAC so far until this one today.

Guys,
All of the 69xx series phones that I am currently installing have the 08:00:0F prefix. I wonder if they are changing because of the SIP version for the MiVO-250.
Thanks,
TE

I found two more with the Aastra MAC - it looks like we received 3x "refurb" 6930s to replace some faulties.

All 150 6930's that I've been rolling out have been of the 00:08:5D variety. Which to someone who muscle memoried the 08:00:0F has been driving me crazy!
Must all depend on what batch people get.
