We have a phone which has a multicall line button set to ring however it will not ring when the phone is being forwarded.
Even though it will not ring, calls can still be picked up if I happen to notice one is coming through silently.
This phone extension is almost always forwarded to a cellphone, though its important that it rings and is able to pick calls
on other line's while it's is being forwarded.
The particular line in question does not have dedicated phone or IP license and is just a Multicall line key on this particular phone.

Why would you think a forward always call would ring any where but the call forward destination ?
-
I you want the line to ring once or twice you are going to have to delete that line off all tel sets and rebuild it as a single line set then program a new cos for 5 second forward . Then Program a system speedcall of the cell phone number and forward to the system call .
-
Then put the new single back on all the sets as a multicall line .

Or maybe this is where a Ring Group could be used?
