Title: Add to queue users on different controller
Post by: HungryHippo on November 16, 2017, 09:38:55 AM
We have multiple controller that independent from each other on different sites, on controller A there is an existing ACD queue and they want to have users on controller B to be able to login to the same queue of Controller A. Looking at it seems like impossible unless they do teleworker, Is there any other approach we can do this with? Also the only configuration of teleworker we have is when we work from home and we use a VPN router to establish connection.

Are the controllers networked, clustered, and sharing data via SDS?

What kind of network connects Controller A to Controller B?

Thats the problem, they are not clustered and connected in anyway. Im thinking the only way to do this is abandon the ACD and configure a VM Multi level attendant and hunt groups.

If they are not clustered or networked in any way, the only option is to put a second phone on their desk as a Teleworker off of the host system.

From MCD 5.0 you can now have "External Hot Desk Agent"

Look in the help files to see if it suits your needs.
