Title: Phantom Number that doesnt ring, goes to VM

I set up a phantom number with a VM and need it to not ring in. I just need it to transfer to VM once the caller dials the number. We are setting this up for employees so they can call in and get company info such as if we are going to be open or closed due to bad weather.

How do I disable ringing in and forward to VM automatically?

Add a system forward path to voicemail, then go into the system forward on the station and enable Immediate or Always.

I am assuming you are using a DID for this. If you are using it for an announcement mailbox why not just setup your DID to go to a CRA that plays the message and then hangs up?
