Had a strange issue over the weekend with our cascade system. It just started calling out on its own at midnight. There was no incoming calls prior to the call-out event. There were no incoming calls between 9:35 Am (remote user access) the previous morning and the midnight event.
Anyone have any ideas as to a cause?

Were there any old messages in the mailbox that were neither saved or deleted? If so, the system would treat them as new messages and attempt notification again.

Nope, mailbox was empty, all messages from the previous day had been deleted.
