Hello
I have been asked to setup 10 cisco 7940 ip phones as sip phones connecting to a 4.1 mcd mitel
I have found loads of information regarding this online but all seem hard to work out
Has anyone done and do they have a the files and a step by step guide on how to do it
Thank you in advance

I've done this. What a pain...............
PM me with your email and I'll try to send my notes to you. No promises on this. I don't remember if my notes were any good or not.

Not willing to share the raw data with us Ralph? Could be useful.....

The problem is I don't exactly remember where I got all the stuff (I sort of hacked my way through it.) so I really don't know if I can share it all without getting in trouble with lawyers.
I'd hate to have Cisco or Mitel angry at me cause that would make my employer angry at me.
Let me look the stuff over. It may make sense to post it on one of my websites.

Hey, heck with the lawyers! I run a site (this one) that has some stuff that I'm sure Mitel would rather not have out there - but so far silence is golden :)

Good to hear.
The Cisco 79xx (http://www.contract-renewal.com/parts/index.php?q=CISCO+phone) is a pretty stupid phone in SIP mode.
I think I'd only give it to my employees if I wanted to piss them off.
